Abstract EN

In this research, we discussed the intellectual life of the city of shayzar with the mention of its most prominent scientists.

Our aim was to show the contributions of the city in a period of time characterized by jihad against the Byzantine and French state, with the instability of the region due to this military friction and the resulting migration of many scientists to safer areas.

And stability, as well as the role of scientists in providing scientific and literary life in various works, books and sciences, which they excelled in the sciences of Quran and Hadith, jurisprudence, literature and poetry
