Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the reality of the application of Anglo-American cataloging rules in the Central Library of the University of Med Boudiaf in M'sila and to find out the amount to which they correspond to the recent developments in the field of descriptive cataloging.

The study reached a number of results, the most important of which are: Anglo-American in the preparation of indexes and organization of information vessels in the library.

The study also made a number of testiment, the most important of which are: The need for the library to conduct training courses in the field of descriptive cataloging in particular, and to keep up with the recent developments of descriptive cataloging rules.
