Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the reality of the use of electronic archives in the administrative work in the Sudanese faculties of education, and to identify the obstacles that prevent its use, and to direct guide in Sudanese universities the attention to the administrators of the colleges of education towards this modern approach, and the possibility of applying this modern approach in different administrations and the study takes its importance from the state's desire in Electronic governance programme in all aspects of life.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method and the questionnaire to collect the data, and the data were analyzed by using the statistical packages for social science (spss) .The most important results of the study are: The departments of education colleges currently lack an administrative program based on electronic archives and there are obstacles that hinder the Shift towards the application of electronic archives in administrative work.

Most notably the lack of link between the administrations of various faculties through computers networks Based on the results reached, the study presented the following recommendations: Removing the traditional paper archive system and replacing it with an electronic archive system.

And to deepen awareness of the concept of electronic archives and its importance and show the benefits that can be achieved for citizens and departments of various faculties of education
