Extraordinary recall of some symbolic heritage and application of similar concepts in contemporary poems have sometimes made the symbolic concepts so tangible to the readers that the poem resembles a report or direct speech.

Therefore, some mighty poets who are acquaint with the normal metamorphosis of ancient symbols change it in the way that the symbol reflects new concepts which are inconsistent with the original state.

On that account, Pictorial Irony based on heritage data is a technique founded on the expression of the contradiction between two mutual pictures of heritage data and some contemporary situations.

Occasionally, this contradiction encompasses the whole poem.

Using this technique, the poem opens a space in his poet to compare golden past versus contemporary conditions via recalling the heritage data.
