Abstract EN

This study dealt with the subject of the estrangement with knowledge and the problematic relationship between heritage and laicism , these are two topics in the question of Renaissance and Modernity in the context of Contemporary Arab culture , the study also discussed in a critical way a comparison between the opinion of Arab Thinkers , Muhammad Abed Al-Jabri and Muhammad Arkoun on Laicism and heritage, in order to arrive at specific conclusions to prove the necessity of rooting a monetary disclosures (Arabic and Islamic), by testing a research hypothesis that assumes that secularization is a condition of modernity.

it is not possible to crystallize a knowledge theory about laicism unless the relationship is resolved.
