The aim of this study was to identify the importance of psychological counseling as a supportive service for students with learning disabilities in the secondary education from the point of view of their teachers.

Psychological counseling has emerged as a support service for learning disabilities based on a survey of 20 teachers.

The researcher used the descriptive, survey approach.

The study was conducted on a sample of (52) learning disability teachers in governmental secondary schools in Riyadh in the first semester of 1438/1439 AH.

The questionnaire was used as a study instrument and consisted of (33) statment distributed on two domains: the importance of psychological counseling as a supportive service for students with learning disabilities in the secondary education and in addition to the focus of some psychological aspects of students with learning disabilities The results of the study indicated that the general average of the first domain was (4,51).

This indicates that psychological counseling as a support service wad very important from the point view of learning disability teachers in secondary education The study also pointed to the absence of statistically significant differences between the average of the responses of the teachers towards the importance of psychological counseling as a support service for students with learning disability in the secondary education according to the general qualification or experience in the field of learning disability or teaching experience The results of the mean for both self confidence and self-esteem was 9.3 Indicating that students with learning difficulties suffer from a decline in self-esteem and self-confidence
