Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to investigate the degree of university administration practice of its roles at Yarmouk University as perceived by faculty members.

To achieve the aim of the study the researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach through a questionnaire of (45) items distributes into three domains: teaching, scientific research and community service administrated on 350 faculty members, 205 of them were valid for analysis within a (20%) of the population.

The researchers used means, standard deviations, MANOVA and Post-comparisons to reach the findings.

The findings of the study showed that the degree of university administration practice of its roles at Yarmouk University is in an average level; as teaching and community services domains came first, while, scientific research domain came in the last rank.

Moreover, there were no significant statistical differences at the level of (α = 0.05) attributed to gender, academic rank and college in all domains.

There were no significant statistical differences at the level of (α = 0.05) attributed to years of experience except for community service domain in favor of 5-10 years experience.
