Abstract EN

This study aimed to define the possibility of utilizing pottery in manufacturing ornaments whichare driven from Nubian heritage that is distinguished by its unique decorations, along with its remarkable influence in Sudanese culture rather than acquaintance with Nubian community of creative features inspired in their manufacturing of ornaments, and gates' decorations.

the researcher employed pottery as a material that serves both aesthetic and functional role in manufacturing of ornaments; taking into consideration all innovative values of this heritage.

the study used descriptive-analytical.

several ornaments' patterns by then were made after technical aspects being done.

a number of results were reached out by the study; some of the most important ones were: clay can be used to make designs with new ideas and visions as well as to cope with modernization at the same time to keep line with the past in terms of using Nubian decorations in these ornaments besides using some metals which make wearing of these ornaments more easy.
