This property gives lexical presupposition a higher argumentative level and facilitates agreement between the interlocutors.

This article tries to reveal the impact of lexical presupposition in the political speeches of Imam Ali.

It also tries to examine the impact of lexical presuppositions of the most common words in these speeches, and how they contribute to making the recipients accept the content of the presented ideas on the one hand and give the speaker a new opportunity to construct new theses in the direction of convincing his audience on the other hand.
