Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the attitudes of teachers of English in the schools of the Directorate of Education of ‘Bani Obaid’ District towards the professional development programs provided to them.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (43) paragraphs was used, divided into four areas.

After verifying its validity and reliability, it was applied to a sample of (110) teachers.

The results of the study showed the following: - The attitudes of teachers of the English language in the schools of the Directorate of Education of ‘Bani Obaid’ District towards the professional development programs provided to them were moderate, where the field of (the supervising authority of professional development programs) and the field of (the methods of professional development programs) came in a moderate attitude, While the field of (the professional development program trainers) and the field of (the professional development program content) came in a high attitude.
