Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the reality of juvenile delinquency in the light of some social factors in North of Jordan.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used a questionnaire of social factors of delinquent juveniles, which were prepared and developed according to the questionnaire of the social survey of delinquent children adopted by the Jordanian Ministry of Social Development.

The sample consisted of 32 paragraphs.

The results of the study showed that the delinquency is higher among individuals between the ages of 16-17 years and that theft is at the top of the crimes, the percentage of juveniles rises between city ,then the camp and finally the village ,and the crimes spread between the delinquent workers and handcrafts, The majority of the juvenile delinquents have bad relations with their brothers and that juvenile delinquency is directly proportional to the number of family members and that the level of learning for the delinquent parents (primary ,read & write, no education)as (63.2%) and that delinquency is directly proportional increased according to the number of rooms in the house.
