Abstract EN

Currently, the phenomenon of child labour in many Arab societies has greatly and disturbingly become one of the biggest problems facing the Arab family.

This is obvious when children are seen wandering in streets in a bad way that may affect their physiological and psychological health.

This usually occurs in the absence of the role of family.

This role should be represented in guiding children to right and best behaviour keeping them away from street and away from looking for work in order to satisfy their essential needs.

Such needs may be unaffordable for their families.

In case of family’s failure to satisfy children’s basic needs, they may resort to seek work at an early age unaware of the nature of this work and its negative effects on their health.

This in turn will significantly jeopardise their psychological and social future life.
