This study is carried out to know the dimensions of violence against women and its causes in the wilaya of Adrar, for this the researcher have adopted a theoretical plan regarding the research topic, then they have completed a questionnaire contains 23 paragraphs to measure the variables of violence against women.

To test the impact of cultural, educational and economic social variables on the dimensions of the phenomenon of violence against women and its causes, the researchers divided this questionnaire into four dimensions of violence: physical, psychological, sexual, Economic exploitation and oppression, The researchers used a sample of 86 women who were chosen spontaneously, End of make research recommendations that can help eliminate this terrible phenomenon.
