Abstract EN

This study deals with the concept of metaphor in the critical and critical lesson of Arab critics - old and modern – ones , and before that the study refers to the various linguistic and theological meanings of the concept of metaphor and then deal with opinions of different critics on the term, to sum up the aesthetics side of this phenomenon through the a practical study about the poetry of praise Prophet in one of its pioneers in the early era of Islam, Hassan Bin Thabet Al Ansari.
