Abstract EN
For whom who seeks Allah’s satisfaction, he/she should spend his/her money to support an orphan.
It is one of the good deeds that purifies the heart, blesses the soul and doubles charities.
That person, the caregiver, therefore, will commit him/herself willingly and voluntarily to spend money on an orphan (a person who lost one of the parents at an early age).
Then, he decides to be the financial supporter of an orphan until he becomes mature and be able to have a fixed source of living or until she gets married (if the orphan is a female).
This obligation is legitimate in the Holy Quran and Honorable Sunnah for the virtues that result in doing those deeds such as fulfilling the minimum needs of the orphan’s burdens of life and also solving the problem of begging.
Also, this will achieve the aim of the Islamic law that the rich should share the wealth with the poor.
So, taking care of an orphan and supporting him/her financially is a religious, moral and legal commitment.
