All these judgments must be based on firm evidence that is not in the realm of mental possibilities or mental outbursts.

This research sheds light on the extent to which the theory of probabilities and its effect in the issuance of modern judgments, because the words that indicate probability have been dealt with quite a bit in the books of the Hadith science which necessitated research on this subject.
