Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة الي التعرف على الحركة العمرانية في فلسطين خلال العصر المملوكي، و قد تناولت الدراسة جهود المماليك في انشاء المؤسسات العامة بمختلف مجالاتها التعليمية مثل المدارس الدينية مثل دور الوقف و المساجد و الاقتصادية مثل الخانات، و كذلك المنشآت العامة الأخرى مثل المزارات و المقامات و الحمامات العامة و المنازل و الحارات، و كذلك ألقت الدراسة الضوء على جهود المامليك في تشييد المنشآت العسكرية مثل القلاع و تشييد الحصون، و دورهم في تطوير الحركة العمرانية و ما شملته من اصلاح و ترميم للمنشآت الموجودة، و إنشاء مباني و منشآت جديدة، ثم تناولت الدراسة الآثار المترتبة على اهتمام المماليك بالحركة العمرانية في فلسطين و ما تركه من آثار على الحياة العلمية، و نشر العلم و جذب العلماء، بالاضافة للآثار الايجابية على الحياة العامة لسكان فلسطين.

و قد توصلت الدارسة إلى عدة نتائج أهمها : ساهمت الدولة المملوكية بانشاء و تشييد الكثير من المنشآت العمرانية بمختلف مجالاتها أدى اهتمام الدولة المملوكية بالحياة العمرانية في فلسطين إلى ابراز و رفع مكانة فلسطين و دورها السياسي و الاجتماعي و العلمي.

English Abstract

This study aims at identifying the constructional movement in Palestine during the Mamluk era.

The study explains the efforts of the Mamluks in the establishment of public institutions of various educational fields such as schools, and religious institutions such as the role of Waqf houses, mosques as well economic institutions such as caravansaries and other public establishments such as shrines, public spas, houses and neighborhoods.

The study also highlights the efforts of the Mamluks in the construction of military installations such as castles and fortresses.

The study also illustrates their role in the development of the constructional movement including the renovation and restoration of existing installations, the construction of new buildings and facilities.

The study, then, explains the consequences of Mamluks’ interest in the construction movement in Palestine, and the impact on scientific life, the dissemination of science, and attract ion of scientists.

This is in addition to the positive effects on the public life of the population in Palestine.

The most important findings of the study : - The Mamluk State has contributed to the establishment and construction of many urban structures in various fields.

- The interest of the Mamluk State in the urban life in Palestine has led to highlighting the status of Palestine and its political, social and scientific roles.
