Erythrocyte antibody screening is an essential biological analysis to detect and identify antibodies (ab) against red cells antigens (ag) other than those of the abo system.
the combination of indirect antiglobulin test-low ionic strength solution (IC/LISS) with the enzymatic technique is reserved for difficulties of ab identification.
our study compared the results of IC/LISS with the enzymatic technique for 31 multitransfused patients.
in practice, the association of IC/LISS with the enzymatic technique finds is indicated in case of complex mixture of ab in order to identify the specificities of those ab and to adapt the transfusion.
this association can also be useful to detect anti-kidd, particularly in a context of a transfusional hemolytic accident with a negative erythrocyte antibody screening with IC/LISS.

La recherche d’agglutinines irrégulières (RAI) est un examen clé de l'immunohématologie permettant de dépister et identifier les anticorps (Ac) dirigés contre les antigènes (Ag) des groupes sanguins érythrocytaires autres que ceux du système ABO.
Depuis l'avènement du support réactionnel en filtration (cartes en gel), la combinaison de la technique en Coombs indirect (CI) BFI à la technique enzymatique est, désormais, réservée aux rares cas de difficulté d’identification d’ac.
notre étude a consisté à comparer les résultats des rai en ci-bfi avec ceux des rai en ci-bfi trypsiné.
d'un point de vue pratique, l'association du tcienzymatique au tci-bfi en support filtration trouve bien sa place en cas de mélange complexe d'ac afin d'identifier les spécificités de ces ac et d'adapter la thérapeutique transfusionnelle.
cette association peut également être utile pour dépister les ac anti-kidd, particulièrement dans un contexte d'accident hémolytique transfusionnel avec une RAI en TCI-BFI négative.
