The current research aims to identify the level of anxiety of math among the students of the intermediate school and its relationship with some variables.
the research sample consisted of (302) students from the student of 4th grade for the academic year (2017– 2018), were randomly selected from in (4) schools (2 schools for females and 2 for male) .to achieve the objective of this research the researcher prepared measure consisting in final form in (26) paragraph three alternatives, and after viewing the scale on a panel of arbitrators to ascertain the extent validity check researcher from the sincerity and firmness the coefficient (0.82), then a student researcher meter dish on the members of the research sample and after data collection and analyzed statistically to reach the student researcher to the following conclusions : anxiety level math among the students of the middle school of both sexes (male / female) and two branches (scientific / literary) below average.
there is a statistically significant correlation between anxiety math among the students of the middle school and variable specialization courses (scientific / literary).as so as variable sex (male / female) in light of the results of the research, the researcher came up with a number of recommendations, including: instructing the teachers of sports materials in the preparatory stage to adopt modern methods and teaching methods that take into account individual differences based on giving the students a role and developing their self-confidence.to complement the current research, the researchers put forward proposals for future research.
