Abstract EN

The competitiveness of national economies is increasingly dependent on their ability to produce and use knowledge, as knowledge, education and innovation are the main indicators of economic growth in a globalizing world.

Many States have adopted policies relating to the pro-duction and transformation of knowledge into wealth that stimulate growth and the competitive-ness of their economies.

Through this study we have worked to measure some of the knowledge economy variables of pre-university education, higher education, research and development, information and commu-nication technology (ICT) and finally the structure of the economy to achieve economic growth in North African States during the period (2000-2017) using data PANL.

the study found a corre- lation between all pre-university education, information and communication technology and the economy affecting per capita real income.
