Abstract EN

The official Diwan letters in the Umayyad era were the medium in the midst of the violent political conflicts and the marginal vagueness of the opponents, in which they spread their views and their political convictions.

Many of these messages because of the many revolutions and movements opposed to the Umayyad caliphate.

These letters are historical documents that illustrate the internal policy in the administration of the Arab Islamic State in the Umayyad era, as it is the main means of managing the affairs of the states and the remote areas in its various political, military and administrative aspects, and other matters related to human life in the Islamic society
