Abstract EN

The persent study is put under the tatie " intellictual and social Role of Maitha,s Family " .

The choice of this topic was for certain reasons .

Among these reasonswas that most researchers will devote a full concentration on the character of Matham AL – Tammar and they neglect the rest of his family which is , therefor , unknown for most people .

In so doing , we have selected his grandson because he is a very important narrator of the prophency households heritage .

This heritage is fully mentioned in AL – Kafis book, which is regarded as most truth ful book .

The research is structurally composed of a brief introduction to Maitham AL – Tmmar progency , with reference to yaqoob Bin shueibs life ( A personality under study ) , to explore his career and position of Men scientists towards him .

To Maintain subject unity , The study has been divided in to two sections : intellictual and social .

Because of M aitham,s importantly intellictual role ( quranic sciences in particular ), the researcher has presented a single narration about the science of reading s in the wholy Quran .

Asecond narration was about the science of interpretation with reference to Maitham,s role in AL Fiqh especially the prayer , zakat , pilgrimage and some ruhes concerning the history of all prophets , we hare found a pure narration about the prophet Adam (As) and two narrations about the prophet mohamad .

He also narrated some supplications of Al- Imam AL – Sadiq (As) .

concerning his social role , it has concentrated on exchange of visits and what to be the rewards of such deed .
