Folk tales in general and Iraqi in particular, a welcome receptacle of social customs and traditions, a language far from the cost, in which the simple human style of his daily life and on his social and religious occasions.

Through this popular heritage of Mosul society, the features of the month of Ramadan and Eid were addressed through the use of a scientific curriculum (content analysis), and this research from three sections covered the basic aspects of this research, through which a number of results were reached, including: The folk tale is the result of a certain environment that has its own social shadows and has its own circumstances that have imposed on the individual an influence on his idea, customs and traditions.

These tales are a literary art possessed of the characteristics and attributes of what the people have to become the art of the public.
