The study deals with the concept of re-thinking and the concept of multiple societies as well as peaceful coexistence.

The research takes peaceful coexistence in the city of Mosul as a model and identifies ways to achieve peaceful coexistence in it.

The study reached a number of conclusions and recommendations, including the expansion of political, administrative, economic and cultural participation among the segments of the society and the rule of national loyalty to other loyalties and the promotion of the culture of peace and openness to the other, eliminating the gap between different spectrums and social segments and faith in intellectual, political and religious pluralism
