The research aims at clarifying the role of charitable work in the promotion of education in Hadramout governorate, and what achievements it has achieved, and to what extent Hadramout governorate's benefit in the field of education (general and university) from charitable work and its institutions.

The descriptive and inductive approach was used in the research.

It was limited to the leading philanthropic institutions such as Al Awn for Development Foundation, the Hadramout Foundation for Human Development, the Charity Fund for Outstanding Students and the Talib Al-Alam Foundation, and the work provided by these institutions to promote education in Hadramout GovernorateThe research reached a number of results, including: The charitable work in Hadramout has a great impact on education whether it is implemented by the charitable institutions in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the University of Hadramout, or implemented independently.

It also benefited greatly at the level of the individual by uplifting him/her in the scientific progress by providing all the necessary educational process and to send students to Arab and international universities, And At the level of society by paying attention to education in all its stages and fill the gap that exists in the educational process by paying attention to the educational and professional environment.
