English Abstract

The aim of the research was to identify the role of the educational supervisor in improving the performance of the teachers in the basic stage in Sulaymaniyah Governorate.

From the point of view of the teachers, the research community consisted of (5301) teachers and teachers.

The sample consisted of (164) teachers, (2018-2019).

To achieve the goal of the research, the questionnaire was constructed consisting of (47) paragraphs, divided into five areas (planning, teaching skills, classroom management, evaluation, curriculum).

To verify the validity and stability of the questionnaire, the questionnaire was presented to a group of expert and specialists.

Through the five-dimensional Likert scale, were applied to the research sample.

In the light of the results, the study reached several results, the most important of which is the existence of intermediate opinions that tend to be high among the primary school teachers in Sulaymaniyah Governorate towards the role of the educational supervisor in improving teachers' performance.
