The concept of synonymy (Turkish Eş anlamlılık, English synonymy, and French synonymie) – has preoccupied scholars past and present: some reject its presence in Arabic, the language of revelation, while others support it.

I have been a believer in the existence of synonymy in Arabic with various degrees, which shows us that there is absolutely no complete matching, but something similar to semantic fields (Semantic fields) in modern semantics, and is intended to demonstrate the characteristics of Arabic and its ability and coverage of a large range of words that revolve in one orbit.

This is one of the facets of the genius of this language, which God Almighty describes in The Glorious Qur'an (The Poets Surah, verses 192-196): (Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds(192): With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth-(193) To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish.

I will present the subject by discussing its most important aspects, some of the views of the ancient and modern scholars, with some of the views of Western modern schools in order to shed more light on the research
