Abstract EN

The present study aimed to analyze the phenomena related to the violence cases (domestic abuse) that were observed in the children's behavior in the schools of the new Baghdad area (Al- Nairiyah model), which is based on three main field axes that included domestic violence at homes or schools (types, causes and treatment), child's violent behavior, and abuse words.

As it is known to many, especially the researchers in anthropology, and in sociology, the great role of parents in directing and controlling the behavior of the child that the family is the first place where the basics of social analogy meet an important role in home education and normalization in civilized culture, especially in the quiet environment of the house, as well as out-of-home supervision of their fellow travelers, neighbors in their regions or colleagues (school fellowship) have a major influence in guiding human behavior in sequencing stages of his/her life.

The methodology adopted by the current study was: the use of descriptive, structural, and cognitive anthropological approaches.

The tools for collecting information or data in this study were based on personal interviews, participatory observations, focusing group and photography.

The importance of the study can be understood from the sense of the phenomenon through an analytical reading of the status of children in Al-Nairiyah areas as one of the local communities of Baghdad city, which falls under the name of urban areas, but still the methods of domestic violence are dominant in the structural mentality of mankind, whether male or female.

The current study concluded that most cases of domestic violence were associated with cases such as alcoholism, mental illness and psychological conditions through the successive crises and wars experienced by the country (Iraq) and the difficult circumstances at the present time have a negative impact on human thinking and reflected in turn on children, especially the period following the political regime (government system) changing in April 2003.

The Iraqi society was introduced into a new phase of chaos, and the return of tribe power to appear in the urban scene of Iraqi society to take a large area, which reflected negatively on the Iraqi thought is considered to be helpful knowledge in the treatment of domestic violence The standards of domestic violence vary widely from country to country and from one element to another.
