Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the academic practices of the professors of Sana'a University in the light of academic accreditation standards and quality assurance from their point of view.

The researchers used the descriptive approach to achieve the goal of the study.

The sample consisted of (301) person representing 20% of the population of the study.

The results showed that practices were low on the three areas, respectively: scientific research and community service, availability of students, and then the field of evaluation.

The practices were very low on the other three areas, respectively: motivation and student participation, teaching skills, and the field of preparation and organization occupied sixth rank and final.The results showed that there are statistically significant differences due to the variable of the scientific position between the position of the professors and associate professors and for the benefit of associate professors and the absence of differences due to the variables of years of experience.
