This paper aims to find possible ways to help specialists in using languages for specific purposes (LSP) in different fields as politics, media, law, medicine, etc.

in the promotion of the Arabic language.

First, it will attempt to describe and define the concept of languages for specific purposes, and to take a critical look at the status quo of Arabic in general with particular stress on its use in specialised fields.

It will finally suggest a set of pragmatic and tangible solutions and prospects that would contribute to the promotion of Arabic in order to be a working language in all scientific and technical fields at both regional and global level.
