Abstract EN

In this paper, we are highlighting The Methodology of the Quranic interpretation adopted by Sheikh Mohammed ben Abdul-Karim Al-Moghili through the manuscript "Brief Interpretation of Surah Al-Fatihah".We also identify the most important intellectual contents and linguistic and rhetorical issues taking into consideration his method of writing.

He focuses in his writings on the proof of evidence and argument; employs accurate and concise information in a logical way based on transfer (Quranic and Sunni proofs) and reason (logic and elicitation); refers to heritage sources and scholars (both those from previous era and his contemporaries) and affirms that the reunderstanding of the Quran starts from our understanding of the true meaning of surah Al-Fatihah which his considered to be an indicator of the purpose of the divine discourse.
