Abstract EN

The advance in technology together with the increase in social communication on the net increased acquaintance around the world to the extent that made it possible for man to have more than casual relationships.

The internet permits us to say or do things that we cannot by common means.

It has a great role in breaking the barriers among people.

Hence, people began to believe that the internet is the means to make friends with others and relationships which may end in marriage.

There are many instances as such in our Arab communities.

Many people began to get married via the internet (marriage via internet)which is the result of the social nature of man.

So, in this research, we have tried to explore this phenomenon and approach it through an objective study which takes to in account the successful experiments and develops them, it also denounces improper behavior.

Indeed, this is the main objective of this research: which is knowing this up to date phenomenon in our communities which introduces itself by itself and questions thousands of concepts .

In this study, which included five topics, the first topic included the methodology of research, while the second included the concept of marriage and its nature and the third section theories of marriage and choice of partner.

The fourth topic is the share of marriage through social networks and then the fifth section, which is online marriage compared to traditional marriage and then to the results, recommendations and proposals.
