Abstract EN

This research studies one of the most important issues of the world which is preventing of separation of nuclear as the issue impacts on international peace and security.

That is because there is a possible effectof the uncontrolled nuclear weapon on the peace and security and on humanity in the world.

Therefore, the purpose of this research is to highlight the legally procedger of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as a specialized international organization of the United Nations in the international regime for the prevention of nuclear proliferation and the keep of international peace and security as the agency is the official and responsible authority for monitoring and inspection of the nuclear activities of the possessor countries,verifying compliance by the States parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) with their obligations.

In addition, the IAEA is a global centre for the achievement of international cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy and for the implementation of the reducing of the phenomenon of nuclear weapons through the establishment of control mechanisms for IAEA-related countries for the peaceful use of nuclear energy the strengthening of military abilities and their use for military purposes, which is considered threat to global and regional peace.
