Abstract EN
The ALWinde River is one of Diyala tributaries in eastern Iraq.
It flows from the western Iranian mountains with an average annual of 18.7m3 /s during (1950- 1974).
It decreased to 9.6 m3 /s at present (2013 – 2017), and falls to 1.5 m3 /s recently (2017) Thus, this paper focuses on these changes and the problemes associated with them.
The water developments of the river requires amuital cooperatin between Iran and Iraq.
