Abstract EN

The poet Ali Abdullah Khaliefa is considered one of the modern poets at the Arabian Gulf area and at Bahrain specifically for his obvious, distinctive and valuable literary and poetic output through the book of (Aneen As-Sawari) and his other books which it was mentioned in our presentation of his literary life.

Therefore, the word (grief) had many meanings in most of the book's poems, which is used by the poet as it presents many deep and various meanings.

The poet used this word in a way that excites the reader and in a variant style as it has mentioned in our analysis for most of these poems.

So he gave a big space for the word (death) through its usage in most of his poems, in addition to some words such as (melancholy, sorrow, fear, poverty, darkness and deprivation) which all mean grief and death in the poems.
