Abstract EN

Women have their own special peculiarities which make them different from men in playing a highly important role at educational and social levels.

The woman has an important message in playing role as mother and during her youth she carries the child and feels her child during childhood.

The mother stand up to affection of the children till the last breath as this is seen in all issues of Arab literature and is especially reflected in poetry.

We are trying to study, by adopting a descriptive and analytic approach, the social and educational role of women in this research and by studying the poems of contemporary Arab poet, Nazar Qabani, who has focused on the issue of women.

This study concludes that women play a superior role in building up of societies and generations; therefore Qabani realized this role well as it has been reflected in his poetry.

This research also shows that the contemporary women have played their social and educational roles during developments and events taking place in the Arab Society.

This part cannot be ignored in the contemporary Arab world.
