This study dealt with the intellectual and aesthetic aspects of the design of the logo, and the role of these two aspects in determining the structural construction of the form and content.

The research contained three chapters.

The first chapter included the problem of the research, its importance and the need for it.

The research problem was determined by answering the following question : What are the intellectual dimensions that establish an aesthetic product within the spaces of the logos of the faculties of Babylon University? The first chapter also included the goal of research in - : Recognition of intellectual and aesthetic dimensions in the designs of the emblems of the faculties of the University of Babylon The limits of research included in the first chapter, was limited to study the dimensions of intellectual aesthetic designs of the emblems of the University of Babylon, and the adoption of the analytical approach within the vision of intellectual and aesthetic aspects of theoretical and procedural The second chapter included the theoretical framework which included two topics.

The first dealt with the intellectual dimensions of the slogans.

The second topic dealt with the structural elements, the foundations of the design and the design characteristics of the logos.

The third chapter contains research procedures, which included community, sample, research tool, research methodology, and then analysis of the research sample of (6) slogans as well as the results of the research, recommendations and proposals.

The main findings of the research are as follows : 1- Reducing the logo boundaries of time and space through the intellectual and aesthetic dimension, as it is an informational message, as in all samples.

2- The ability of the symbol to connect a specific intellectual dimension, carries a high aesthetic, as in the samples (1, 2.) 3- Coherence of intellectual dimensions in the designs of logos, the impact of the unit, as in all samples.

4- Different intellectual dimension of the color used in the design of logos, as in samples (3, 5).

5- The abstract forms by force were dynamic and linear, creating a temporary aesthetic work.

6- The designer adopted the contrast and contrast as a means of organization in showing the aesthetic logo, as in samples (5.2) 7- The possibility of the line element to deliver a message to the recipient, was strongly constructive, aesthetic and intellectual, as in the sample (6, 5, 2.) Conclusion : Despite the abundance of objectively and aesthetically significant terms, the designer was able to reveal all these substantive words in a pure form, which is in brief a summary of the cultural and intellectual dimensions of the peoples.
