Improvisation in the theater of the oppressed is an essential element in the performance of the actor at the Augusto Boal Theater.

Improvisation takes its importance in this approach as an attempt to construct new forms of performance that address societal issues.

The actor's imagination is given the possibility of growing his ability to give and take with his colleagues In automatic ways, and also opens the way for the recipient to invent what reflects the human strength in the face of its problems and to find appropriate solutions to solve them .

The research included four chapters.

The first chapter dealt with the problem of research, which was the question of: How to employ improvisation technology in the performance of the actor in the theater performances of the oppressed ? It also included the importance of research, which was highlighted by highlighting the mechanism of employing improvisation technology in the performance of the actor in the theater of the oppressed and the extent of its impact on the recipient intellectually, emotionally and participative , and the need to search to benefit from its results for researchers and interested in studying theatrical art in general and representation in particular, : Know the mechanism of employing improvisation technology in the performance of the actor in the theater performances of the oppressed.

Chapter I concludes with the definition of terms and their procedural definition.

The second chapter the theoretical framework and previous studies (included the first two studies) the theory of Augusto Boal for the theater of the oppressed), and the second part (improvisation ...

concept and types) followed by previous studies, and concluded the chapter of the most important indicators that resulted from the theoretical framework.

The third chapter included the research community and included theatrical performances on the theaters of Mosul for the period 2011-2015.

, And the sample of the research included two plays were chosen deliberately, and the researchers took the descriptive approach in the analysis of the sample.

The fourth chapter included the results of the research, including : 1.

The technique of improvisation overlapped with the events included in the play "Ya Salam Abu Salam" to transform the proposed theme into an integrated material and intellectual achievement, thus achieving an intellectual flow that established the language of presentation and defined the course of the crisis in the events.

The improvisation technique allowed the actor to present (Ahat om Adam) to achieve high techniques in the form of performance and the technical level so that the actor has dynamic rules that reflect his culture and community practices and are highly intertwined with the minute details of his daily life with the details.

The researchers then reached a number of conclusions, including: 1.

The technique of improvisation in the research samples was adopted as a whole, in an attempt to explore the effectiveness of the audience versus the actor in the process of producing the dialogue, building the situation and the event, and indicating its potential to achieve active participation with the actor to develop solutions and change the reality.

Training on improvisation in research samples The basis of the adaptation of the representative to the role in which a range of performance experiences were intertwined to achieve the optimal solution, which gave them the ability to produce and simulate the behavior more freely.

The researchers reached some recommendations: 1.

The need to add a systematic material on the theater of the oppressed in the bachelor stage.

Organizing workshops on the method of Augusto Boal in the interactive theater in the faculties of fine arts in Iraq.

They submitted a proposal for the study, namely: 1.

A personal study of the Joker in theater performances of the oppressed.

The research concludes with a list of sources and references.
