Abstract EN

Ahwaz is located in southwestern Iran.

It is an area of great importance throughout history because of its geographical location which has a great natural resources as well as inhabited by multiple peoples until reaching of the blessed Islamic conquest and put a seed for the Shiites there under the care of the Mohammad's household (peace be upon them).

Many Shiite scholars had lived there especially in the era of Imam Reza (peace be upon him) when he passed that area.

Shiism there produced a lot of poets and writers such as Abu Nwas and Ibn al-Skeit, and Abo Mahamal al-Shaibani.

This tender continued till the time of the Twelfth Imam (peace be upon him).

Efforts have resulted in the creation of states and Shiite emirates in that region.

Shisim was adopted as an official doctrine.
