Abstract EN

The importance of this study is related to the definition of digital copyrights as well as the definition of the means of protecting copyrights and the extent to which national legislation is updated to adopted to modern trends in the protection of copyright in the digital environment, as in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Where it is one of the mechanisms of achieving the digital economy and sustainable development.The study addresses the fair use of unauthorized copying of copyrighted work without a problem ,provided that the copying process is more in the service of the public interest.The study ended with a series of results that influenced the subject matter of the study the most important of these results are: A range of characteristics and features of intellectual property are available, considering that digital intellectual property is the fruit artistic creativity as well as its cultural ,economic and social importance.As a result of the digital leap that has taken place in the world ,it has brought about a profound impact on all aspects of life as it has direct impact on intellectual property.

It gives the right to the copyright, and also gave the beneficiary the right to take advantage of the information without using it commercially.
