Abstract EN

This research deals with reality of the Palestinian economy in the southern provinces of the Palestinian National Authority (Gaza Strip) during the period 1999-2014, the most important economic, social and political conditions experienced by the Gaza Strip.

Was divided between the two initial time periods 1999-2006 and the second 2007-2014.

after the data and information analysis, and comparison between the two phases through some economic indicators, as well as the conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the researcher suggested the following findings: that the Palestinian economy in the Gaza Strip declined in the case of a recession, and the economic and financial blockade and political divisions significant impact on the decline, also it led to high unemployment, low per capita income.

The researcher recommended the need to end the Palestinian political divide, and increase the contribution of economic activities in the GDP of the Palestinian economy,
