This study aims to highlight the integration of gender issues in the field of peace, especially the participation of women in peacebuilding processes as a result of the international developments, both at the level of the intellectual and cognitive system with relation to the increasing participation of women in various international fields and issues.

Women proved that they could assume responsibilities commensurate with that assumed by men, so it was necessary to examine the role that women could play in peace-building processes and the progress they had made in this sphere.
