Abstract EN

According to the most of the reports issued by international governmental or nongovernmental organizations and even civil society in the Maghreb region, the Syrian refugees live tragic situations because of the lack of adequate attention to handle them by the authorities in this area of the world.

This article is focusing on the methods adopted by both the Maghreb governments as well as civil society with the plight of the Syrian refugees.

Among the results of the article, the policies adopted and taken by the authorities in the Maghreb region toward the refugee issue were characterized by arbitrariness and confusion and circumstantial.

The Maghreb citizens acted in a different way and showed enough sympathy towards the refugees.

Finally the study finds out that depute the existence of substantial fabric of civil society organizations in the region; unfortunately, they did not devote enough sufficient attention to the issue of the Syrian refugees
