Through the theory of balance of powers and alliances, this article deals with the strategic choices of regional powers in the Middle East.

After the departure of the Americans, the region experienced a strategic vacuum that accompanied a functional change giving birth to new powers: Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

Since the region is living a race to the research of the new lands of geopolitical influence.

So, making alliances between states of the region is a strategic in itself, to flourish the powers that want to Reign or impose their laws, but the existence of a multipolarity in the same political system, only amplifies the dilemma of alliances.

From our article, we will try to answer the following problematic: What are the influences that can cause the needs of balance of forces on the politics of alliances in the Middle East? Working method: the neorealist approach was used to treat this theme.
