Abstract EN

Regional cooperation is one of the most important issues that aroused the interest of the Arab Maghreb countries after 2011 with the wave of known political and economic reforms.

This last point has been debated at the theoretical and field level, mainly in border areas where the problems related to the deterioration in the development in these areas is persisting.

A good example of this is the Algerian-Tunisian border, the two case studies.

These areas suffer from many problems that lead to their marginalization characterized by a deterioration of their development.

Hence, the review of the developmental strategies is among the most important solutions suggested for this issue which is based on introducing a common approach of development for achieving sustainable development.

This latter is related and concerned with the development of regions far from centralized management method, and thus, avoiding its drawbacks in generalizing the different solutions from one region to another.
