Abstract EN

This study deals with a subject of foreign policy different from the traditional literaturs, it tries to understand and explain major countries behavior and hightlights one aspect of the small states foreign policy, and its method to response to external variables.

this subject is about Qatari foreign policy behavior toward the new changes that swept the arabian region.

trying to understand and explain the reasons of its external behavior chift, especially under the political movement in the arab region, so this study tries to identify the most important characteristics and sources that have enable Qatar to play this multiple roles to link it with fixed targets set by the small state under the logic of survival strategy.this study.

The study concludes that Qatar foreign policy played multiple roles, trying to adapt tools and different methodes, but what is fixed in the foreign policy is the goal, in order to achieve its national security, relying on its internal determinants and build a connection of foreign alliances.
