The aims of the current study were to identify personal and educational factors that might affect academic achievements of the deaf and hard of hearing students in higher educational institutions and determine the differences in personal and educational factors of deaf and hard of hearing students in higher education for Riyadh.

Institutions attributed to (Academic rate ‘gender ‘hearing status ‘favorable communication method ‘ educational level ‘time of hearing loss occurrence ‘the type of graduated educational environment ‘educational institution).

The female researcher depended on the descriptive survey by using "factors affecting academic achievement of deaf and hard of hearing students in higher education institutions questionnaire".

The questionnaire consisted of two main axes: (personal factors- educational factors).

The results of the study showed the study sample agreement to the effect of personal factors and educational factors on the academic achievement of the deaf and hard of hearing students in higher education institutions in general.

The study recommends the creation of an executive guide to regulate the educational environment in institutions of higher education, And training sessions for the deaf and hard of hearing students before and during their enrollment in higher education institutions.
