Social policies are the decisive factor in achieving integration and support a sense of belonging to the community; and therefore they are related to the areas and social organisations that support also integration, and achieve development.

As they are the safety valve for social stability toward the changes that may arise from time to time on the political systems and that may be threatened; here the main role of governments and their partners in the distribution of values and achieving social control.

If social policies of good governments aim to achieve the well-being of society and its development, then the effectiveness of those policies may prevent a coup and alienation of the masses, as well as the potential erosion of trust between citizens and the governments.

These research papers address the topic of social policies and their relationship to social security in terms of involving the preservation of social cohesion, support equality, and preserving human values shared within the theories of public policy.
