Arab youth and culture in the age of globalization It is certain in the modern era that Arab youth has entered as a result of many circumstances a vicious-circle; which will increase his disintegration, undermine his selfconfidence, and weaken his creativity.

Arab youth today considers progress and development in its occidental model as following and catching the west, and leaving behind his identity and heritage.

Arab youth also considers culture as everything produced by the occident, this fact has lead those young people to shift and deviate from their ethos and moral values, and to embrace pleasure in its materialist frame separated from ethics.

The diminishment of culture into one facet of globalization means the acceptance of non-criteria approach that is the core of Postmodernism, as a result the humanist side of the Arabic thought has been undermined .This fact emerged in light of the crisis of mutual trust between Arab governments and their citizens, and the controversy of fundamentalism and Occidentalism.

The intrusion of both culture and ethic has led to the shift and deviation from Arabic values and behaviours, which in turn constituted a general phenomenon for Arab youth.

Opinions, beliefs, and attitudes held by those young people today are considered as self-mental perception that helps to define a vision of the outside world and to interpret the reality of life.

This research paper addresses the concerns and risks of the extinction of culture; or the diminishment of identity, its breakup against the Western hegemony in the Arab world.

It also focuses on the policies of Arab governments to face the challenges of globalization on Arab human capital and investment prospects.
