Abstract EN

This study addresses the security’ challenges in the Mediterranean with focus on the role of Algeria.

Algeria has been always seen by the great powers as a key actor for the stability in the region, this view is the same as Algerian approach to security in its neighborhood based mainly on a peaceful trend, dialogue and noninterventionism as an efficient tool to face security threats.
